December 2 – Mooney 201

Wednesday, December 2 — In at 8:55, very chilly and light snow falling, melting on the ground. Still just the one Mooney 231 on the ramp. Met an American Airlines 767 captain and phot’d his newly overhauled visiting Mooney 201. Processed pictures all afternoon. Model club went GREAT! Departed for home at 9:55. Day Rating: A

The blue Mooney 201 visiting Wednesday was flown by an American Airlines pilot from near Rockford, ILl That’s him posing with the airplane  The other, a Mooney 231 with a larger, turbocharged engine, has been parked on the ramp for more than a week. The bottom picture is of the 231 and an overnighting Executive 21 I phot’d a few nights ago on the ramp.
