January 11

Monday, January 11 — In at 9:30, cold, moderate wind, nothing on the ramp, sidewalks to entrance still mostly icy. My mind is on the BOOK today. My head will not be in a comfortable state until I pay for and pick up the JTW book. Must work on Springfield Business Journal assignments this morning and be at a hearing aids consultation this afternoon. It went great. The two sandwiches I brought from home were too much. Got sleepy and napped. I’d rather work at 100% capacity than lurch along at 50%. If something MUST be done today (and nothing DID, today) I can stay later at 100% and come out okay. Finished the planned part of one article. From 7 to 8, worked on a 1/48 Super Cub I’m giving to the young lady who lives upstairs with her mom and step-dad upstairs in my duplex I call 428. Also worked on the 1/48 Me-262 and 1/72 old Frog kit of a Sea Vixen. The upstairs Process Room was too cold for airbrushing but not too cold for my nap. It’s been a quiet, low energy day here . . . Left for home and dinner at 8. Day rating: C
