January 21

Thursday, January 21 — In at noon after a friend fixed a water leak in the basement. Bought cold weather gloves and oil at Ace Hardware. Processed the rest of the 183d Heritage Park pics taken Wednesday and spent most of the day organizing photos. No visitors; not a big deal. Worked with Rusty (Horizon part-owner, nice fellow) on a matter relating to the Central Illinois Plastic Modelers club I belong to that meets Wednesday nights in this building. More photo work all afternoon. No photography of birds on the ramp. I am changing my processing method, spending less time editing to near perfection so I can file pictures and eventually — and faster — move pics to the CDs. When I go looking and find a picture needed for a production, I will fine-edit it then. We’ll see how this goes. Ate all the Shop & Save cut melon in a plastic box I wanted; have some left for early breakfast out here Friday. No anxiety, no pressure, took my time and enjoyed. Went home at 7:15. Day rating: B.
