January 23 – A-10

Saturday, January 23 — In at 6:45 to work on A-10 pictures. Calm, nothing on the ramp. Processed A-10 pictures. Work went okay at TGG, FINISHED some AKM projects I had been working on there for the past few months and brought them back to the museum, but didn’t put them away. Went right to work processing A-10 pictures, IMAGINING I’d FINISH them today. Silly me. I can’t believe how many pictures are fit to be SAVED instead of dumped: almost 200 so far — just of the visiting A-10s Friday! I got sleepy, considered a nap but chose not to. Had a large cup of coffee and that was good for a brief second wind (about  another hour) with the processing. Sunday I will be here early AGAIN and do something besides A-10 pictures. Went home at 7, pretty hungry and tired. Day rating: B.

Here are more pictures from Friday’s remarkable encounter with 10 A-10s.
