January 31

Sunday, January 31 — In at 9:30, windy and overcast, same Citation and Bonanza V remain on the ramp. Worked upstairs most of the day in Intake and Process Rms. Spent 15 minutes barely scratching the surface of what needs to be done in Books & Misc Files Rm.   When some promised file cabinets arrive, and after a friend who promised to change locks is done with that, I will move all miscellaneous files and foreign aircaff files into a separate room. Major improvements to Intake Rm: better arranged FILES of clippings and scraps closer to hand during sorting. Did some preliminary sorting. THAT is PROGRESS. In Process Rm, used the new Iwata airbrush for the first time in more than a month: preliminary underside white to DH Sea Vixen and a primer clossy white to YB-49. Readied Revell 1/72 Wildcat for decals. Ate a box of cut melon for lunch and enjoyed it. Felt a littl4e healthier just eating it. Also revised 2015 logs. No visitors, no photography. A day of modeling and solid progress upstairs. Departed for home via grocer at 6. Day rating A-.
