February 2 – AeroKnow Museum

Monday, February 1 — In at 9:00. Overcast, 34, BonV and KingAir on ramp. Worked upstairs from about 11 to about 3, scanning many prints: black & whites from the 30s I’ve not yet identified and will share at the AKM Gallery Of Flight blog when time allows. Also several color prints loaned by local pilot Frank Campo’s step son taken when Frank was enjoying his beautifully restored Ercoupe. I tried to do some modeling, but it was hard to turn to plastic and get much of anything done while waiting for the scanner to finish each part of the scan. That said, it was better than if I just sat like a lump and waited for the scanner! Accomplished a fair amount. I need to spend a day a week doing nothing but scanning and optimizing pictures . At that rate I could be done with that part of the collection as is stands today . . . . . eventually. Departed about 6 to be home early and listen to Iowa primary returns. Day rating – B+

Here  are some pictures to give you an idea of what AeroKnow Museum is all about.
