February 8 – C-17

Monday, February 8 — In at 9:10, cold, minor snow all over, roads slippery in a few places. Sorted in Intake Rm until 10:20. Worked upstairs sorting in the morning. Two cookies saved from last week’s visit to Terminal Subway for lunch with coffee. No visitors. Back up and began moving a lot of models in process to another room and cleaning up in Process Rm. That room is not much of a showplace to share with visitors, and all the clutter — uncompleted models and unrestored models on lots of shelves — does not make the impression that should be made if I expect to advance this museum!   At 2:00 pm I felt as though it was suddenly midnight. The snow was starting to fall pretty hard, seemed likely to continue and make the streets even worse,  so I departed for home via Ace Hardware to get an extension cord. Out of here at 2:50. I’m tired too. Day rating C-.

Today’s pictures are more from a recent visit by a C-17.
