February 12

Friday, February 12 — In at 8:45, light snow, enough to cover the ramp and the ANG birds on pedestals.. . . . . . . . . .Busy busy all day. Larry T. visited and donated some documents from his years with the 183d Fighter Wing. His memory is incredible. I really should sit down with him for two or three hours and record him talking about his years and some MAJOR players as though he had talked with them at lunch and was telling me about them over dinner. He also allowed me to scan several pictures and left some negatives I had expressed interest in scanning I scanned things the rest of the afternoon. Came down to office and processed a bunch of the scans with a little help from newer photo software. Took no new pictures of birds on the ramp outside. FInally headed home at 7:40. Day rating A. Driving home, someone pulled up beside me at a stoplight and told me a wheel was wobbling! I very gently drove the rest of the way home. The service center that works on my pickup was closed Saturday and Sunday.
