March 13 – Piper Seneca

Sunday, March 13 — In at 9;15, rainy and cool , Piper Seneca on the ramp. Pilot visited AKM and let me phot the bird. He was contract pilot delivering it to the new owner. Said the previous owner had taken exceptionally good care of it. It sure looked well-kept. Continued processing Sikorsky MH-60 pics from yesterday. Was visited by a NetJets pilot whose grandfather flew Spitfires. He was very astute re aviation history, an excellent representative of NetJets. This was his first visit to Springfield. Continued processing pictures of the MH-60S. I simply wanted to put that task BEHIND me. Arose from desk only of coffee and men’s room relief. Finished with the pictures about 5:45 absolutely DONE and glad to be. I had earned an early departure after a very positive, productive, affirming day. Left for home at 6:15. Will catch up with models on Monday and will start early. Day rating: A
