March 19

Saturday, March 19 — In at 7:55, chilly and overcast, Civil Air Patrol 172 and a few members in the lobby. Met the maintaier who’s working on Tom Harmon’s Shorts Tucano. Nice fellow, world traveler working on Tucanos. Processed pics, talked to one of the CAP pilots who lives in Bloomington, IL. The CAP 172 is hangared at Peoria. Worked at employer 9 to 2 and proofread 3.5 articles of the first group of six to be published in the next American Aviation Historical Society Journal. That was all I accomplished for AKM,  thanks to several customers. Back to airport, tired, depressed a mite from all that I need to do. Went home at 5:30 via supermarket. Day rating: D
