March 27 – Cessna Cardinal II

Sunday, March 27 — In at 7:15, calm, overcast. Worked on pictures and checks until 10. Upstairs to work in Books Room. I’m still off my feed. Went up to the Process Rm and put another coat of glossy clear on the black undersides of the 1/72 B-52. Then worked from about 11 to 2, came down for lunch (prepared cut fruit in a plastic box) and went back up for another hour and a half. Also fine-tuned the Surplus Room and set aside a BUNCH of publications to donate to Goodwill. A few minutes after coming back to the office, Richard S. visited with his dog, had a nice chat. Also talked with a couple flying a repainted Cessna Cardinal with nifty colors. Photographed it in light but COLD rain. Headed out to grocer and home at 5:45. Day rating B+

Pictures of the Cardinal II were taken late afternoon March 27 in light rain and right after AND Monday March 28 in bright morning sun.
