April 5 – IAI Galaxy

Tuesday, April 5 — In at 6:54, calm, sunny, PC-12 on the ramp. Brought the home vacuum cleaner to clean the Model Club Room and took some before pictures with very bright southeastern sun beaming in. Worked on pictures of the Air Rendezvous Room (AAR), and FINISHED the March Lincoln Flyer. Sent it to a friend in California for proof reading. It came back later in the afternoon with excellent catches and enlightening suggestions which I incorporated with gratitude a plenty. In the meantime I worked non-stop upstairs straightening up — in other words, making things look as neatly maintained as they should be to begin with. Made excellent progress everywhere but in the Process Room.  BARELY NOMINAL was the best I could do there because I have so MANY things going on in there. I STILL have to eliminate a LOT OF CLUTTER. And the only way to accomplish THAT in the long haul is to complete more projects without starting new ones. Phot’d no airplanes. Bought lunch at Subway and ate only half of the foot-long and saved the two cookies to eat Wednesday for lunch. There were airplanes on the ramp, but nothing inspiring. I’m getting used to the routine, I guess. Sent the March Lincoln  Flyer to my friend John, whom I HOPE will print me some. He e’d back he’s going to be away from Springfield awhile, more than a week. I’ll have a few printed elsewhere in the meantime to hold me over and email them Thurday afternoon. I was tired and draggin’ my wagon by 7:15 so I went home. Day rating: B
Pictures who “before, after and current status” of a room I’m developing here for a local model club. Also, promised pictures of the IAI Galaxy that visited Monday.
