April 17 — AT-6 of Greg Vallero

Sunday, April 17, 2016 — 8:40,  perfect sun to phot the Eclipse  parked on the ramp since Thursday. Processed donated av mags from  yesterday all morning. Did that all day and made very good progress. The only relief was a welcome visit from Greg V and his highly polished natural metal AT-6.  In bright sun, all spectators should wear protective eye wear to lessen the brightness! We had a short but terrific visit and I was delighted to phot his bird, first time I had seen it up close. Then back to the magazines after vending machine snack food lunch. It was fine. Accomplished a LOT with the magazines. Had to leave at 7:05 because I promised to attend the Songwriters Open Mike with Tom I and Ben B. at George Rank’s. Arrived to find it had been cancelled. That doesn’t matter as much as the fact I decided to start playing guitar again. This is a good sign. Day rating: A

Pictures of my visit with  long-time friend Greg Vallero drew FABULOUS reactions when I posted them at Facebook: more than 200 responses, mostly  friend of Greg who liked the pictures. I hope followers of the AEROKNOW MUSEUM BLOG like them too.
