May16 – Embraer Phenom 100

Mon, May 16 — In at 6:30, calm and sunny. Ramp with no planes. Delayed engagement of OPERATION PLASTIC RESOLVE so I could process all the pictures from Sunday. As I did so, was visited by a convivial couple from Lansing, Michigan whose 310R was being refueled. She walked me onto ramp to phot it from several angles and the nose baggage compartment.  The nose had additional metal overlay sections as armor against ice flying off the prop blades. First time I’ve seen that on an airplane. Will process later. Finished yesterday’s and began the day’s OPR at 10:35. Made great progress with B-45, B-52  Stopped at 2:10, returned to office and had lunch. Processed a few more pics from 2014, went to Magazine Room and but out labels for half an hour, then to CIPM Room at 3:30, worked on U-2 half an hour, then to Process Room at 4 and worked on organizing things and then re-engaged YB-49 and worked on it until returning to office a 7:00. Five and a half hours for OPERATION PLASTIC RESOLVE. Downstairs and closed things down. Departed for grocer at 7:25. Day rating: A.

Pictures are of the Phenom 100 which refueled at SPI Sunday.
