May 6, Cirrus SR-20, Cessna 172

Fri, May 6 — In at 7:25 after ANOTHER RAGGED NIGHT with insufficient sustained sleep! DANG! Paid some long-overdue medical bills. Processed some  2015 pictures. Visited by a fellow who is a partner in a Cirrus SR-20, based in Cahokia, IL, just flying for the fun of it on a sunny, perfect day. very enthusiastic about the models in the office. We toured the completed public rooms upstairs and I phot’d the Cirrus as he pre-flighted and started engine. Interesting to see a Cirrus with a two-blade prop. Had a salad instead of a sandwich from terminal Subway; first time I’ve visited twice in a week, my reward for working hurt. Still very achy from the fall, especially around the sternum. Did a lot of magazine work upstairs and culling later. Phot’d an interesting Skyhawk with a propeller warning. That’s new to me.

Went home tired at 6:20 and did two loads of laundry before dinner. First laundry work in two weeks. I need new trousers. Day rating B.

Pictures are of the Cirrus and Cessna 172 May 6.
