May 11

Wed, May 11 — In at 7:35, overcast, cool but predicting 82 so I’ll be concentrating on things upstairs this morning. Photo’da PC-12 with Bison Air livery on vert stab. First PC-12 I’ve seen with any kind of logo. Later in the morning I met the pilot who visited Welcome Room. The sales people had been forced to spend the night in Springfield because of bad weather up north, but they departed okay later Wednesday. Worked on Magazine Room for the last time in a while most of the day. I must get to other things. The model club’s first meeting in the new room with a new, computer-printed sign that reads Central Illinois Plastic Modelers on the door, went very well. Worked on finishing the 1/72 CH-47 and started a  1/48 U-2C. Lots of talking but nothing irritating. Seven attended. I departed for home at 9:40, feeling very good compared with the past few days. STILL a lot of soreness around gums, and I’m eating much less than before. Day rating B-plus.
