December 6 – Robinson R44

Sunday, December 6 — In at 8:15, COLD and sunny. Green’s Avanti on ramp with a Mooney. Finished culling articles from the av mags on my desk by 10. Took all the pictures and other graphics off the window on the office door. I want to make it easier for people to see IN. It was much too cluttered. Welcomed an aviation enthusiast and his two sons who had come out to the airport to see the airplanes and were attracted to the window display facing the hall. Put some things away upstairs. Bummer of a day. Worked in finances awhile, had to think too much. Visited a place in town anticipating a Business Journal article to write for the January edition to come of it, but the club isn’t ready yet. Back to AKM and ate vending machine snacks for “lunch” for $2.75. Culled articles from a few magazines, but even that was a drag. Trouble with Corel picture software too. Couldn’t fix it. Went home early for me: 4:15. At least I’ll drive in dusk and not dark. Don’t know what I’m going to do there but it beats what I’m doing here. This is very unlike me. Today, I would rather vegetate at home than vegetate here. In some way, I guess, I should consider this a “net positive decision.”

Dinner was Jif Extra Crunchy peanut butter on a frikking table knife. (late rent check posting from renter’s bank  confounded my checking account balance and kitchen pantry) and wine. Day rating: D-

The Robinson R44 was photographed last August 2015. Anyone wanting additional pictures of aircraft shared at this blog is invited to email akm@eosinc.com
